Getting set up

  1. Stand your iPhone upright directly in front of you, with the screen facing you.
  2. Keep your face in view of the front camera — you do not need your whole body in frame.
  3. Tap Enable camera and allow camera access when iOS asks.
  4. Wait for “Nose connected”, then tap Start.
  5. Push up to rise. Lower down to drop. Guide your character through the gaps.

Common questions

The character isn't moving.

Check the status line at the bottom of the screen. If it says “Looking for your nose”, Flappy Push cannot see your face yet. Face the screen, make sure you are well lit, and move closer to the phone. Bright light behind you is the most common cause — the camera needs light on your face, not behind it.

The run keeps pausing.

Tracked movement stops when your face leaves the frame. If tracking is lost for more than a moment, Flappy Push pauses the run instead of ending it, and counts you back in once you are visible again. If you are dropping out of frame during the down phase of a push-up, tilt the phone slightly and reposition it so your face stays in view at both the top and bottom of the movement.

The camera is off and the button says “Enable camera”.

Either you turned the camera off in the app, or camera access is denied. If permission was denied, tap Open Settings and enable Camera for Flappy Push, then return to the app.

Does Flappy Push record me?

No. Camera frames are analysed on your device to find your nose and are then discarded. Nothing is recorded, saved, or uploaded. See the privacy policy.

Does Flappy Push count my push-ups?

No. Flappy Push tracks the vertical movement of your nose so you can play the game. It does not count repetitions, score your technique, or provide any fitness or medical measurement.

Which devices are supported?

Any iPhone with a front camera running iOS 17 or later. Flappy Push is designed for iPhone and is played in portrait orientation.
